What to Expect
Most people are a little apprehensive about visiting a new church. We will welcome you, and we will not embarrass you. You will never be asked to stand up and introduce yourself, or do any other activity that makes you feel uncomfortable. We are not concerned about your attire or your spritual background. We look to the Bible as our guide (2 Timothy 3:16), and we hope our simple yet Bibically based approach is comforting.
Hopefully, a few words and Scripture will help set your mind at ease about visiting our congregation:
Bible Class
We begin our Sunday mornings with Bible class at 9:45 and meet again for classes Wednesday evenings at 7:00. In all of our classes, you can expect to study the Bible (2 Timothy 2:15), encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24-25), and to grow in your understanding of Christ (Ephesians 4:15-16). After our classes on Wednesday night, we all meet together in the auditorium for about 10-15 minutes of singing and a devotional thought. Every 3rd Wednesday, we all meet in the auditorium and spend our night singing praises to God (Colossians 3:16).
Worship
We worship every Sunday morning at 10:35 and meet again Sunday night at 6:00 (Acts 20:7). We strive our best to worship according to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament (John 14:15, Acts 2:42). When we worship, we...

- Sing together as a congregation: "Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:19).
- Pray together. We have several prayers led by one of our men on behalf of the congregation: "With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18).
- Take the Lord's Supper together. This is an opportunity for our members to remember Christ's death by eating unleavend bread and drinking juice of the vine every Sunday (Acts 20:7). We sit quietly for a few minutes and reflect on Christ's sacrifice for us: "For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night when He was betrayed, took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' In the same way He also took the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.' For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes" (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
- Listen to God's Word together. Our preacher takes a Bible passage and explains what it means in its context and how it applies to our lives: "Until I come, give your attention to the public reading, to exhortation, and teaching" (1 Timothy 4:13).
- Give together. We know how good God has been to us, so this is an opportunity for our members to give back with a cheerful heart: "On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save as he may prosper, so that no collections need to be made when I come" (1 Corinthians 16:2). (We do not expect or ask for our visitors to give anything in the offering).
